New IPhone 15 pro max not saving or capturing pictures

BEWARE!!! Brand new iPhone 15 pro max on iOS 17.1.2 with over 200 GB available. Took several pictures today at Christmas lunch and NONE of them were saved or captured. Once I noticed I couldn’t find the newly taken pictures, I did some test pictures, they did not save either. I rebooted the phone and now experiencing intermittent saving. DO NOT TRUST YOUR iPhone 15! It’s buggy trash. PS - this is the first time owning an IPhone. Considering going back to Samsung - much more reliable.
