I wanted to know if a claim can be filed for a lost Apple Watch? Or if it’s even covered with Apple Care+

How do I replace a lost Apple Watch with insurance through Apple? Well, it looks like this time the watch is lost for good. My 8 yr old daughter seems to have misplaced watch again. It is linked to Find My and I activated Lost Mode a few weeks ago. I have insurance on the watch through Apple. Do I go to an Apple Store to get watch replaced or do I go to the phone carrier? AppleCare+ doesn't cover a lost or stolen watch. Check any non-Apple insurance policies you have.
