Any way to export a pdf scan from within Notes?

I've scanned a multipage document to a Note, and now wish to copy the document from the note to my Mac desktop for filing elsewhere, outside of the Notes app.

I cannot figure out a way to do this. The share sheet doesn't seem to have an option, and I can't find any instructions to do so online.

To be clear, I can find plenty of information on how to export the whole note as a pdf, but that's not what I want to do. I'm wanting to export only a particular pdf scan from within a note. Is it possible?

Mac mini, macOS 14.2

Figured it out. Here's how, if anyone else needs to do this on a Mac:

On the pdf in question: Click the downwards arrow / select "Open Attachment" (may take a few seconds if a long pdf) / After opened in Preview, use File/Duplicate and save the copy where desired.

It seems there might be a more direct way, but if so, I couldn't find it.

Have you tried selecting the PDF in Notes, click and drag/drop it to the Desktop?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, that's the first thing I tried, and I was surprised that it didn't work, since it usually does.
