Why does my messages have two sets for people I don’t want private messaging how do I turn it off

When I’m texting I get text from the same person I’m texting and I don’t see any of them it’s going to a duplicate message from the same person it’s like it’s a private message I never had Thai problem then it just started happening don’t know how to fix it

  1. Ensure that the contact information for the person you're texting is consistent. It's possible that there are multiple entries for the same contact with slight variations (like a different phone number or email), causing separate message threads.
  2. Go to Settings > Messages and toggle off iMessage. Wait for a few seconds and toggle it back on. This can sometimes reset the messaging system and resolve issues like this.
