Restoring iphone from backup

My iPhone started showing a screen a few days ago that says “data recovery can not be completed, please restore your iPhone from backup”, I’ve searched up how to restore it from backup but its giving me instructions on how to set up a new phone. The power and home button does nothing. I have another phone that is synced with this one but i still need this one as well, what do i do?
