In macOS 12 it was possible to add a few favorite folders to the menu-bar. After migrating to my new iMac M3 and 14.2 it does not work as it did before.
How can I add them again? See screenshot far right "Dienstprogramme"

Here on mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1 with an Intel MBP 2019: Right-click on the tool bar and choose "Customize Toolbar…". When the option sheet appears, simply drag a folder or document to the desired position along the other icons in the Tool Bar. Press "Done".

Yes, you are right: it‘s the toolbar.
As you can see from the screenshot it WAS possible to add items there (far right, „Dienstprogramme“). The remains also work, but not possible to add new ones 😬
I was viewing it on my iPhone and didn't see the second screenshot of the toolbar.
Drag whatever you want into the toolbar area and hold down the command key. You should be able to add it that way.
Do you mean the toolbar and not the menu bar? It has never been possible to add anything to the menu bar. Some third-party apps can add items to the status menu area on the right side of the menu bar.
That was the first thing I tried, does not work anymore.
