Camera Setting - Preserve Settings

The preserve settings is not working as it is when I first bought my iPhone. I turn off the list of setting located in the preserve settings in order for the camera to turn to its default and when I change the exposure before taking picture it automatically save the last configuration. Upon opening the camera application again the last configuration is save instead of returning to its default settings. Please help, I don’t want to save any changes in configuration in my camera. I want it to stay on its default configuration settings.
