My iPhone continuously overheats too much yes I know it is the seven model which is an older model but it overheats too much and it won’t keep a charge

Do not use the phone unless it is absolutely necessary.
If you want to continue to use the phone, you need to have the battery replaced.....immediately.
Make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple service shop. You can find a list of authorized shops in your area using this link: Find Locations
$69 or thereabouts.
If you go to the Apple Store, expect them to try to convince you to buy a new phone.
