I would not use any covering on a silicon or any other Mac. There are two main reasons I would not. First, Macbook Notebooks use passive cooling which depends on unobstructed heat flow through the body of the computer. Second: Using a camera cover, palm rest, or keyboard cover on a Mac notebook - Apple Support

I would not. Aside from Apple suggesting that you do not, there is no "breathing"space in today's laptops and any problem might be the result of using one and might void the warranty.
Hi,
I think it's OK. I'm using hard cover and silicon keyboard protector for my MacBook Pro.
