iOS 17.2.1 Battery Drain

ok wrong word. They were never started - and then suspended. They are available for dispatch by IOS - right?

Experiencing exactly the same on a 13 mini (1.5 years old) , 14 Pro (8 months old) and an older iPad Pro (6 years old).

Is anyone at Apple actioning this issue?

Same, Iphone 13 drains so fast. 9% in 27 mins just browsing news app.

I don't have messenger or TikTok. It is the Apple update causing it

Same issues with my iPhone 11, I wish I didn’t update it to iOS 17.2.1 my battery now is draining so fast even though I didn’t use my phone. Any solutions? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Same here, i also have same issue with the battery after updated my iOS. My battery drain very fast.

iPhone 14 Pro, had it for 14 months. Battery is draining much faster in last few weeks, possibly related to the update. Used to have 40-50% end of day, now always in the red zone.

Same issue even connectivity is dropping unable to make calls or even see incoming calls as display is freezed. This is from India

I did it. After a long perios didn't solved i did many reboots aswell.

Also experience battery drain on my iphone 7 plus with ios 17.2.1, just replace new battery before new os but after update it so terible now. Wonder wth are they doing ? Downdate ?

So they don't read product feedback either, I've already sent feedback on user interface errors several times - keyboard lags, control centre, flashing sliders when interacting with them, and so on. Since the end of October, there have been 0 responses, as I understand it, they don't even read them

I still can't believe that such a large company as Apple can't fix errors that have existed since 17.0 or going back from 16, which almost every user must face (control center lags when interacting with it during operation of auto brightness, flashing sliders and animations, keyboard lags, constantly growing system data in storage and so on), at least it's very similar to planned obsolescence and motivation to purchase a newer device, because even 17.2.1 after DFU recovery works as if it is some kind of unfinished version

Try searching on reddit for topics with the headings "iOS 17 keyboard lags", "iOS 17 control center lags", "iOS 17 shutters and lags".

I do not believe that a phone with 99% battery can suddenly start to slow down from scratch. People who claim that everything is fine with them just don't use their devices. Just try to start interacting with the control center while auto brightness is running or typing quickly on the keyboard, or start deploying notifications on the lock screen in the notification center when there are a lot of them. It all started for me after the update on iOS 17, everything flew on the 16 system and the battery gave out more than 10 hours of screen operation.

I hope Apple is working on fixes, otherwise I will remember them as the supplier of the most buggier and laggier software and will never buy any of their devices again in my life. My previous android, which was 5 years old, worked much more stable in terms of software.
