iMovie on Mac mini M2 Pro AUDIO DELAY

I imported the same XAVC 4K 30p clip from Sony RX100 VII into 3 Apple computers. With the camera connected via USB, audio was perfectly synced on the MB 2016(MacOS 12.7.1, iMovie 10.3.8) and MB AIr M1 (2021) (MacOS 14.2.1, iMovie 10.4). However, when using the new Mac mini M2 Pro (MacOS 14.2.1, iMovie 10.4), the clip had a full 2-second audio delay when viewing the original clip in iMovie.

I spent several weeks using Mac mini M2 Pro only with iMovie 10.4. Experimenting with various video clips with every available format on the Sony, the 2-second audio delay was introduced on every clip. However, just once, the audio sync was perfect.

Audio sync on clips played in QuickTime was perfect every time on all computers. However, when using Microsoft Media Player with Parallels on the Mac Mini M2 Pro, there was a 2-second delay nearly 100% of the time.

It appears the mini is the issue. Any ideas?
