can a disabled iPhone be restored without wifi connection?
My nephew entered the wrong passcode too many times on his iPhone 8. Now the phone is disabled. Is there a way to restore it to factory settings without the device having wifi?

well the laptop has to have an internet connection by wifi or wired ethernet before it can update the phone
maybe put it into DFU

and then restore it from itunes or finder depending on the model of the computer
the laptop has internet. the prompt basically means I need internet on the device, which I can't do because the phone is disabled. I'm asking, is there a way to restore without internet on the device?
I connected to MacBook by cable and when I try to restore I get this prompt "the iPhone software update server could not be contacted. The requested resource was not found."
