Can't enter Time Machine

I accidentally deleted 2 weeks of safari history that I want to restore. I read about the option of using time machine to restore a prior history in the library. The menu bar doesnt include an "enter time machine" option.

restoring safari history Hi Have lost all safari tabs going back months- computer closed down and then it was reopened without restoring whole history and it's lost the whole lot. Desperate to get tabs back. Have read here it's kept in ~/Library/Safari/History.db, History.db-shm, History.db-wa but have no idea how to access this - not very computer literate. Can anyone help? how to recover deleted reading list safari accidentally i have deleted all reading list in safari on the laptop. (iCloud sync enabled). i tried and looked in iCloud but there was no backup there to restore. can i restore all reading list via time machine? is there another way?
