Add Flick type app to child's SE watch from parent iPhone

I am trying to add the Flick Type app to my child's new SE watch to allow a keyboard for texting, but I cannot download the app from the watch, and am not able to figure out how to add it from the Watch app on my iPhone where I manage my child's watch. Any suggestions?

Child’s Apple Watch not showing in Screen Time I have twice now set up a child’s Apple Watch under my iPhone under the Family Sharing method, and both times the watch would not show under Screen Time. The watches were set up correctly so please do not repost the Apple page on setting up a watch in Family Sharing as that is not helpful. When I go to Screen Time in the Watch app it does not have any actions; only a link back to the Screen Time page in my iPhone’s Settings app. But in the Settings Screen Time page the watch does not appear anywhere. Family Sharing and Screen Time are basically useless despite how they are advertised. Has anyone actually had success in correctly linking a child’s watch to Screen Time?

How can I enable app downloads on child's Apple Watch that 'Require iPhone'? My child's Apple Watch does not let my child download any apps that "Require iPhone". I've gone into the Watch app and it does not work. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
