I’m locked out of my Apple TV and I went in and change the password I did all that and it still didn’t wanna let me in

OK I changed the Apple Password everything was fine on the iPad and then I tried to go on the Apple TV and I couldn’t get it to let me go to new password username or nothing it wouldn’t let me slide over to it said it’s been locked out how do you unlock it I change the password

I change the password on the Apple TV but apparently it took me too long to get it done so he locked me out so I’ve got a new password and it won’t let me go and put the information in so I’m fixing to just throw something at the TV
