Why does my hp printer 4100 not allow me to connect to the internet
I am having difficulty getting my printer connected to the WiFi- the I icon comes on and my iPhone tells me that the printer is off line or unavailable
HP has lots of printers, and HP unfortunately re-use the same numbers among some very different printers. I’ll assume this is the “HP DeskJet Plus 4100 All-in-One” series printer. “LaserJet 4100” models and “OfficeJet 4100” usually lack Wi-Fi, so probably not those.
HP has updated firmware for DeskJet Plus 4100 printers available, from August 2023. Start there:

And as mentioned above, you will absolutely want to configure and use AirPrint.
