How do I connect my pencil with my iPad

I have compatible pen and I pad. I plugged it in and let it charge. My Bluetooth is on too but nothing is comim* up

Hi -- by "not coming up" do you mean that the Apple Pencil is not showing up in Bluetooth settings at all? Have you tried the steps listed in this article: Pair Apple Pencil with your iPad - Apple Support
