Disconnecting Studio Display from iMac

Normally when I disconnect any external device I have to go to Finder and click the device to disconnect but my studio display doesn't show up as an external device. Probably because it is just a display. Do I need to disconnect the studio display in my iMac or just unplug the display from the iMac?

I want to connect it to my MacBook Pro but when I disconnect the studio it doesn't connect to my MacBook Pro. What am I doing wrong?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.1

Figured it out. Just had to allow Studio Display to connect when my MacBook Pro was on! The first time I did it I didn't turn my MBP on so the Studio Display would not connect. Turn on the MBP first and received a prompt to allow the display to connect.
