Unlock iPhone 7 that is ‘iPhone Unavailable’

I was in the hospital (sedated) and entered the wrong passcode too many times and my iPhone 7 locked and is ‘Unavailable’. I have gone to the Ifixit link because I have also forgotten my Apple ID Password. Problem is: it sends a verification code or instructions to my iPhone to reset my Password, but I can’t access my phone to get it. No option is offered to opt to have it sent to my email account. What can I do short of buying a new iPhone? Thanks for your assistance in advance. Rick
