Shortcuts - Editing tags of multiple reminders

Context: I have a smart reminder list for tags that are "Overdue".

I want to make a shortcut to scan all my reminders, find those overdue, and tag them so they appear in that smart list. When I run the script, it displays a list of the overdue ones but won't tag them automatically (both under Set and Add). What's the solution?
