I have a secondary MacBook Pro M1 14 2021 and is still under warranty
The battery health is normal and max capacity is 100%
It is not running on the the charger when it is connected to the charger but on the battery
I have to wait until the battery is 20% to recharge to 100% again
Any suggestions to charge the battery to 100% when needed.

The rule of thumb—if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on the battery only—this is how you optimize your battery charging and extend the working life of your battery by reducing the cycle count.
