Downloading new MacOS after erasing mac

So I’m trying to erase the whole MacBook (factory reset) and I have a MacBook M1 2021. But after i “erased mac” i erased the disc, i started to download MacOS “Big sur” but I doesn’t seem to work. I have watched plenty of YouTube videos but it doesn’t seem to work. Since I not have an other MacBook I don’t know how to get it to work. The error: “Failed to personalize the software update”
