logic pro updates

Plugins on the stereo output channel induces latency = delay

Turn the plugins off -you might need to remove them. In that case save output channel strip.

And/ or turn on 'Low Latency Monitoring Mode' (Record tab)

If you have purchased Logic once, you can update to newest version depending on your computer and OS

I did find a way to get the latest version, but not sure if it will work on Sierra.

Open App Store. Login if you haven't. Select your account on the bottom left. Look for Logic Pro on your purchases. Do not click on Logic Pro itself. Click on the download symbol. It will bring up some message asking if you want to download the last compatible version. Click download and you should be good to go.

You need to update your operating system to at least Ventura 13.5. Your computer is able to do that if you have enough hard drive space. Then you can download the latest version of Logic.

I think you just want to turn the plug in while you record. Just put your curser over the plug-in and you'll see a power button on the left side. click on it to turn it off. The plug-in will turn grey until you click on the power again.

You can go up to 10.4.4 on Sierra

Watch out! Too little free space on your hard drives can lead to file corruption and more. Make sure that you have at least 10% free space on each volume.
