Can two apple watches be paired to the same iphone?


I want to keep my version 4 Apple watch as well as my new version 9 which will not pair out of the box.

Nope. You need to switch to get data from the watch. To switch, you just need to put on the relevant watch and raise your wrist and the iPhone will detect it and switch.

Quickly switch to a different Apple Watch

Your

iPhone detects the paired Apple Watch you’re wearing and automatically

connects to it. Just put on a different Apple Watch and raise your

wrist.

You can also choose an Apple Watch manually:

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap My Watch, then tap All Watches at the top of the screen.
  3. Turn off Auto Switch, then choose a different watch.

To

see if your Apple Watch is connected to your iPhone, press the side

button to open Control Center, then look for the Connected status icon .
