Family sharing screen time for child who is over 13 but not an adult

My daughter is over the child age apple allows for family sharing so therefore is labeled as an adult. We need her on the screen time family sharing function since she is still a minor and will be for quite some time. We cannot get her there on her iPhone 14. Our other daughter, who is now an adult, is still showing up there even though she is labeled an adult in family sharing and we aren’t using screen time with her any longer. I’ve tried everything I can think of to add my youngest daughter to the family screen time function (she’s listed as a family member in family sharing), but to no avail. Is this function not available anymore for people over the age of 13?

No. Children over 13 and under 18 are still children.

Why not? What happens when you try? Screen time is not limited to children. You can setup screen time for anyone on the Family Sharing group, even adults.

Should still be available.
