Timer color change in control center

Hi, before I upgraded to iOS 17.2, the timer icon in the control center would change from white to orange if a timer was currently running. I do like that now I can have multiple timers running, but the timer icon remains white now even if a timer is running - it really was helpful to swipe up and see the orange icon so I would know that the timer was running. I don't know if this is something that was overlooked in the software update or if it is a setting that I can now configure and don't know where to configure it. Thanks!
