How to turn on device location remotely with icloud?

I need to locate my iPhone but it says that its offline. How to remotely turn on location using icloud?

You cannot turn on Find My remotely. It must be done on the device. If you did not have Find My turned on, there would be no way for you to locate your device.

You enabled Find My on the phone.....before it was lost, correct?


"Offline" simply means that one or more of the following is true:


1) The phone is not powered on

2) The battery has run down

3) The phone does not have an Internet connection where it is located


Unfortunately, there is not really anything that you can do about this other than check a few times each day to see if the status of the phone has changed.


Please be aware that thieves are very fond of placing stolen phones in a special type of bag that will not allow the phone to either send or receive any signals. The phone will also display as "Offline" in this case, so this may be a factor here as well.
