trying to order an imac and can not find a serious retailer in Greece

i am trying to order an imac in Greece and i do not get any answer from the authorised retailers. very disappointing

Apple's services seem to be rather limited in Greece and there are no Apple stores either.

Have you tried to find a vendor using Find Locations - Apple (GR)? Some are labelled Premium. Apple says that "Apple Premium Resellers have been recognized by Apple for providing superior customer service with a focus on Apple solutions, service, and support."

A Premium reseller appeared in the first page of the list when I searched Athens, for example. Their website, was in Greek, by the way, and this might be expected.

I feel for you. I only recently ordered my new iMac from the Apple online store. It might be universal, but here in Australia the resellers only offer the standard configurations and if you want a 1TB drive or larger, and/or extra RAM it has to be ordered from the Apple Online Store. As there isn't one in Greece you certainly have a problem.

Dear David,

Thanks for the info. i know i have been searching as well. the disappointing part is that i want to order the new imac within 24GB RAM and 1 TB disk, which has to be ordered, as this is not available in Greece, but i can not get any traction from the retailers..... as if an expensive machine, which will give them an interesting commission, wouldn't care them less.

As i also leave and work in France, i can get it in France in the end and bring it to Greece somehow, if i see that there is an impasse in Greece. what a disappointment for Apple....
