Mac Outlook - 2016 (16.16.27) not able to search emails on the new Macbook pro M3 after moving from Old mac

I used to run Microsoft Outlook for Mac - 2016 (16.16.27) in my old macbook pro 2017 model and everything was fine. I now shifted to new macbook M3 pro running Sonoma 14.2.1 and search has been broken since then. All spotlight search is okay (documents, images, settings, etc.) except Outlook 2016. I

I've tried the following - extensively and I'm fed up!!

1)

"mdimport -L" lists only one path for Outlook - but this looks like it has not been updated in a while

2)

I've tried regenerating the spotlight index as per - Rebuild the Spotlight index on your Mac - Apple Support

3) "mdimport -g" doesn't work as the latest mdimport doesn't support "-g" option

4) THIS OPTION WORKS FOR literally 10 mins and then stops working (from: https://www.repairwin.com/fix-outlook-for-mac-search-not-working-no-results/)

The index took about 7 hours to build (I've several email ~80GB of data). The email search worked and I was happy. But this was short lived. Outlook for mac started returning "No Results" about 10 mins after indexing was completed.

Go to the following location:

* ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/Outlook/Outlook 15 Profiles/Main Profile/Data

2. Move the Outlook.sqllite file to your desktop. (This will force Outlook to detect an issue and to do an auto rebuild).

3. When the Rebuild is completed, open Outlook and perform a search.

4. If the search is working then delete the 'Outlook.sqllite' file from your desktop.

5) There is no re-index trigger on my outlook settings - there is no "Search & Index settings" option in outlook preferences

Please help!!
