Why is Make Key Photo option greyed out?

Ventura 13.5, Photos 8.0, iPhone 13 pro, MacBook Air 2020 M1

I want to change the key photo in my People listing. It greyed out whether I'm in the Library or on that person's page in the People section. The photo was edited so I removed the edits, that didn't make a difference. I tried a different person's page and it's the same. Any idea of what's going on?

Gray outline on subject in the Lock Screen. When I set my wallpaper to randomized photos, I’ve noticed a gray outline around the subject that isn’t there in the original photo. ex: original, editing the wallpaper: screenshot of actual Lock Screen with a gray outline: Has anybody else noticed this? Help with naming person/pet in Photos I accidentally clicked on This is not “Name” of pet and now I can’t figure out how to get the option back as Photos app doesn’t not recognize that person/pet…. Even after taking more recent photos of the person/pet… Am I able to get this feature back? Thank you in advance!
