New Apple Id problem

I used to use my apple Id for my Iphone 5s, Ipad and my macBook Pro laptop. However, at the moment Im no longer have/use Iphone 5s, Ipad . Therefore I decided to create a new apple Id because the previous apple Id sometimes does not work on my MacBook laptop.

But this new apple Id show still using my Iphone 5s and doesn't work on my MacBook laptop.

My MacBook Pro laptop details are as follows:

MacBook Pro 13 inch of Mid 2012 (Retina)

Version: OS X 10.10.5

Memory: 8 GB 1600MHz DDR3

Please help me to solve this problems because I cannot download anythings from apple store even to update my laptop

Chanzi, h

I can only surmise the problems with your Apple ID are related to the fact the macOS version installed on that Mac is very old. It can and should be updated to the latest version that Mac can support. Please try to do that first. Read How to download and install macOS - Apple Support, and scroll down to Catalina 10.15.

If you have trouble doing that please write back. I do not believe you should use the new Apple ID. Try to use the older one first.

Please "sign in" on your Mac using your old Apple ID. I realize it did not work sometimes, but creating a new one is not the way to fix it.

Do not use the new one.

If the older Apple ID does not work sometimes, please explain the circumstances. They are very likely to be related to the fact you are using a very old macOS version. That Mac can be upgraded to a newer and hopefully more reliable macOS version, but please use the old Apple ID — the same one you had been using for the iPhone and iPad, despite the fact you no longer have or use those devices.
