Music app on iMac won't sync due to mzstatic certificate not valid

I am unable to sign into Music and sync across devices. Each time I enter my ID and password, I get a popup message telling me the mzstatic certificate is not valid and error 9039. I can't find any way to fix this issue despite much searching.

IiMac Late 2014 running BigSur 11.7.10 - just reinstalled whole operating system, just in case, but didn't help

I appreciate your response, tt2. While awaiting a response and still searching for some remedy, I rebooted my computer and router a number of times to no avail. I eventually came across a comment somewhere about force-quitting Music and restarting it in Safe mode. In Safe mode, I was able to log into my Apple account, finally, and see all my music without getting an error message. I restarted my iMac and was also able to sync my Music library. It seems all is well, and I hope it remains that way.

Thank you, thhaar
