Why is IOS 17 not available for IPad 2?
Apps that require IOS 17 are not possible on my IPAd 2 with 15.8 IOS software - why is that?
iPad 2, iOS 9
I'm sure somebody can provide a more detailed answer but put simply, the hardware cannot run iOS 17. It is too underpowered in terms of computing ability and storage.
By the way, I think you must mean an iPad Air 2 or something if it has iOS 15 on it now. A true iPad 2 will only run up to iOS 9.3.6
