i purchased a new iphone. i passed on the installation of icloud and apps from my old iphone. ive decided which apps i want to include. so now i want to add the apps of my choice from my old iphone to my new iphone. How do i go about and install them?
I know this is late, so I'm posting this for others, but if you were just trying to get your previous apps back, you dont need to reset your entire phone just to get your apps if you've made it to the Home Screen without them. Following this article, you can go to the App Store, your profile pic, purchased, not on this phone, then click the cloud for whatever you want to be on that particular iPhone.

You would either have to start over and restore from backup or you would have to manually download each app you want from the App Store…however if you go that route and you had any data associated with those apps you may not get that back and it would be like you just started using those apps
You have to erase the phone and then start over again from the "hello" screen with a new setup.
Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Erase All Content and Settings
Choose the option to retain the carrier settings, so you don't have to set this up again. The phone will restart to the the "hello" screen.
This time you would choose the option to Transfer Data from an iCloud backup during the setup process.
