Can't play purchased movies on Apple TV

I can not play any of my purchased movies in my library. It says they have been moved to apple tv app which is where I am trying to play them, but they will not play.

Some movies purchased on Apple TV listed as not purchased. Hello all. I have a Samsung TV and iPhone 8, and an extensive library of purchased movies on Apple TV (over 400). A lot of them are no longer accessible - the titles are in the library, but I cannot play then, and am given the option simply to add them, or subscribe to the service that streams them. I have reset the Apple TV app on the Samsung. Oddly, there is no way to access my library on my Dell laptop - Apple TV only displays its titles, not my library. Any help appreciated.

Why are some purchased movies in my AppleTV library not playing on Apple TV? Some of the movies in my AppleTV library just show a black screen with no audio or errors when I try to play them. Other movies I bought from Apple continue to play as usual. There doesn't seem to be anything different about those movies. Some I bought at the same time will play while others bought at the same time won't. My Apple TV has the latest OS. I have rebooted. The AppleTV is connected by ethernet, so the problem is not wi-fi signal related. The only way I have found to play the movies is to exit my library and go to the "Search" function of the AppleTV app. When I find the movie, its info shows that I have already purchased it. I can play it from the search results, but not from its icon in my library. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Force-quit the Apple TV app and Restart Apple TV, then test again

I was having the same problem on Apple TV. Nothing was showing up under library. I restarted the Apple TV and everything showed up.
