How do I integrate the doorbell on my Aqara D100 smartlock into Homekit?

The Aqara D100 smart lock has an integrated doorbell button that chimes, or it can play through an Aqara hub with a speaker (which I don't have).

I can't see a way to integrate this doorbell into Homekit. I asked Aqara and they said to contact Homekit to find out if there is a way. I would like the doorbell to play on Homepod minis throughout the house. I can't really have another doorbell as it would be pretty confusing for people.

Aqara has a couple of resources to help you set up this device and include it in your Home app.

This video and the user manual (the English version is the second of the several languages in the manual) show how to include the smart lock in your Home app, but you will need their door bell for the audio. There is no indication that the audio can be ported to another device such as a HomePod. This would seem to be the same as my Eufy doorbell which plays the audio through the Eufy Homebase device connected to my network. There is also a setting on my Eufy iOS software which also sends a doorbell alert to iPhones belonging to my HomeKit. Perhaps the same might apply for your device?

You will need a HomePod or AppleTV as a hub for Internet access. This is not to be confused by the other use of the term 'hub' which is the Aqara hardware called Aqara Hub for their accessories.

See page 15 of the manual for guidance on the minimum hardware requirements.
