Working iPhoto library in High Sierra

Upgraded to Monerrey

Using Photos with option key to convert iPhoto library

It started the process, created a new directory called iPhoto Library.photoslibrary_prepare

but then ends with the error

"The library could not be opened. Photos was unable to open the library "iPhoto Library" (3127)"

Dowmlaod iPhoto Library Manager from here:


https://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/


And use it to rebuild the iPhoto Library. Read the documentation carefully first, especially here:


https://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/Help/rebuilding%20a%20corrupted%20iphoto%20library.html


This will create a new library with the same images as the damaged one, then try migrate that to Photos.
