Apple card has only 14 digits instead of 16....can I get a refund?

I bought a $300 gift card and I can't redeem it because it only has 14 digits instead of 16. Can I get a refund because it is unusable this way

What to do when half the numbers are missing on my Apple Gift Card So I bought a gift card from the store today and when I bought it, I took out the little sticker and half of the numbers were gone, and I was hoping Apple could give me a refund. Thank you. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
