Apple wallet gift card barcodes are too Small to scan is there a way to enlarge them

Unfortunately, Apple Wallet doesn't offer a built-in feature to enlarge the barcodes directly within the app.

However, there are a couple of workarounds you might find helpful:

1. You can try adjusting the display settings on your iPhone to zoom in on the screen. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Zoom, and turn on the Zoom option. This will let you magnify the screen by double-tapping with three fingers. While this won't specifically enlarge the barcode within the Wallet app, it could help you zoom in on the entire screen, making it easier to scan.
2. Another option is to utilize the Magnifier feature on your iPhone. You can access it by triple-clicking the side button (on iPhone models with Face ID) or the Home button (on iPhone models with Touch ID) and use the zoom function to focus on the barcode within Wallet.

Suggestion number 2. does not apply here, as the magnifier only zooms in on what is on the camera, not on the screen. Also, triple-clicking the side button to call up the magnifier first needs to be enabled in settings under Accessibility.

1. works great. I had the very same issue with barcodes for parking tickets.

My problem is that the barcode is there. My iPhone is hiding it deliberately. Only the top of the card shows. The barcode peeks out teasingly and then retreats like a shy turtle. I have to hold it in place, while a store associate scans it with a reader. It's a two-man operation. Handy.
