In my mac with Ventura 13.6.1 (22G313), in Preferences, General, Login Items, I see a list of apps. I wish to remove one of them, but if try to select it (or any other) the selection does not remain, simply the app I select flashes once and is not selected, so I cannot use '-' to remove it. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Try Removing from the Dock icon. Press and hold or ctrl-click to bring up the menu. Disable Open at Login.
Some apps will set themselves to open at login. They should have a setting in the app to control that, but some don’t follow the guidance.

Just ignore that list. Or uninstall the related app if you do not need it.
