Where is the trash can or how to delete an application? On an iPad.

I am trying to delete an app. Do not see a trash can or delete function

I can't delete apps on my iPad after updating to iPadOS 17 I’m trying to delete an app on my IPad and can’t do it anymore in IPad storage, which had an easy delete this app i but changed in the update. No delete as you can see from the screenshot When I go to the home screen and hold down on the app there is only a remove app no delete app. I tried the remove app and it’s still in my library.
