Scribble pad not working for password on de watch

My son is trying to enter a password using the scribble feature. He is on the family sharing plan without his own phone so it won’t show him the option to use my keyboard on my phone, the password won’t work. This is extremely frustrating. Why is there no keyboard function?

using skribble on iWatch 6 I too was having trouble entering the Apple ID password on the iWatch (PS why is iWatch ,iPhone not in the spellcheck dictionary on this website !!!) after a lot of cursing , I noticed that my Iphone 8 had popped up a window where I could type in to the "skribble" box on my watch - very helpful feature I did not know existed! ( skribble is the tiny screen on Iwatch where you can enter messages and text by drawing with your finger) It even hid the password as I was entering , 4/5 stars for this feature Apple. It would be 5 stars if it showed me the characters for half a second before hiding. Why don't all apple devices and websites do this? ( like the iPhone / iPad :-(

Scribble vs Keyboard Apple Watch SE Hi, I did buy Apple Watch to my kids. But When they try to send a message, we only have the option Scribble, not the keyboard option. They are using Apple Watch SE with all the new software install. If I do the same on my Apple Watch Ultra, I have the scribble and the keyboard when I swipe at the bottom Thanks
