Uploading messages transferred from Android device to iCloud

Hello,

I recently switched from an Android device to an iPhone 15 and brought over all of my text messages via Move to iOS. I am attempting to upload these transferred messages to iCloud so that I can sync them with iMessage on my MacBook, but I am currently unable to do so.

I have turned on Messages in Apps using iCloud on my iPhone, and it does not appear that my transferred messages are backing up based on the size of the storage allotted for Messages on my iPhone and the storage size of the messages transferred shown on my Android device.

Additionally, I have enabled Messages in iCloud on my MacBook and new conversations are syncing, I am just unable to view any of my old messages. Does anyone know how to sync these transferred messages? Thanks!
