ipad 7th gen 17.2 and failing at filling out a pdf

Not on my ipad. After a half hour of trying to modify a medical form, I printed it out and with a Bic pen (invented in 1950) spent 59 seconds to complete said form.
Fortunately, Apple has (finally) fixed its Music app in this upgrade.
There newer software seems non-intuitive, with no obvious way of finding a solution, and has more bugs than ever before.
Not impressed.
