Update payment option email. Scam?

I got an email from itunes asking me to update my payment information to avoid getting back to the free iCloud account.

first, the steps to do so in the email don’t correspond to existing options in my iphone settings (i have the latest iOS on my iphone).

second, when I go to my Apple Pay payment details, my credit card is up to date, so I don’t know why I got the email in the first place.

can you tell me if i have to worry about getting pushed back to the free icloud settings or not?

I keep getting emails saying I need to update my payment method for iCloud but I have a valid Apple Card and I am suspicious of this email. What do I do? I get daily emails purporting to be from iCloud asking me to update my payment method. It's driving me crazy. How do I know if it's real? I'm paying for my iMac on time and Apple certainly knows all my credit card info. So I don't understand if this is spam or does iCloud and Apple not talk to each other?

How to correct iCloud payment information on my iPhone? I got a email from Apple, it says, " On 11/11/2022 you are scheduled to be charged $0.99 for iCloud with 50 GB GB of storage, but there is a problem with your payment information."
