Adding Apple MC (Goldman Sachs) to Aura (Plaid)

How is the Apple credit card (MC) added to Aura for monitoring when you can’t log into Marcus Goldman Sachs without an account with that bank? Using the Apple ID and password does not get you linked. Any solution to this?

Why can't I add Citibank-issued credit cards to Apple Wallet? Ever since I started using AppleWallet (three phones ago), I have been unable to add my Citibank Costco Visa and AAdvantage MasterCard to it. Just traded up (from a 12 ProMax) to a 15 Pro, and I still can't do it. I keep getting "contact your card issuer" error messages. What's wrong with Citibank anyway--is it because these cards are "affinity" cards rather than Citibank Visa or MasterCard issued directly by the bank rather than a "partner" business entity? I also have trouble trying to add my driver's license and transit pass. Any clues? (Please, no multi-paragraph lines of code like someone kept posting a year or two ago, thinking he was being helpful).

Why won't Apple tell us why Simplify can't connect to Apple Card Mint downloaded Apple Card transactions with no problems but Mint is going away. Quicken Simplifi says Apple won’t approve their connection. Apple says nothing I can find. I know Simplifi wants to connect, they add a built in import option for just Apple Card statements. If I add an Account To Truist Bank, Apple Card is listed, but when I give my Apple ID and password. I get an error.I have read that when you add an account to any financial app you are directed to an Apple page for sign in and Apple sends the bank tokens for security reasons. It appears to me the APIs are in place to meet apple security requirements. Goldman is leaving the consumer credit market and Apple will have to get another banker. My GM Card sold to AGI, and then to Marcus. It took me 2 years and Simplifi to get that card connected again. Could Apple be waiting for a new bank?

GS does not allow access through most third parties.

I see, I figured as much. Their menu system mentions the Apple Master Card. The GS representative was stumped as to why my Apple ID and password were not working. He said it must be Apple as “their card is their own institution.” Weird and confusing. I‘m sure GS isn’t immune from hacks and data leaks, etc. Also Paid, the company that makes the linkage, mentions multiple banking institutions within GS and tries to link but fails at the login. So GS clearly allows Plaid to connect. This must be on Apple’s side. I’m assuming the correct bank that the Apple MC uses is “Marcus Goldman Sachs” from what I can find on the Marcus GS customer support.
