I can't enable the tracking function on my iPhone

I’ve been trying to enable app tracking for a while now and I’ve done research on it trying to figure out why I can’t. I’ve restarted my phone, signed out of my Apple account and then back into it, I’ve made sure all of my apps are updated, nothing works. I did some research and found out you have to be 18, which I am. I turned 18 about 6 months ago. I don’t know if it only goes by year and not day and month as well but it’s kind of annoying. If someone could offer some advice that would be great!

If your iPhone doesn't give you the option to enable tracking for an app, it might be due to the app's settings or permissions. Here's a general guide on what you can try:

  1. Ensure that the app is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, app updates include changes in tracking permissions or settings.
  2. Try deleting the app and reinstalling it from the App Store. Sometimes, this can reset settings and prompts, allowing you to enable tracking.
  3. Check Screen Time Restrictions if any as shown in the pic below

Remember, not all apps require or request tracking permissions. If an app doesn't utilize personalized tracking, it might not prompt you to enable it.

If you're referring to system-wide tracking settings and they seem inaccessible or grayed out, ensure your iPhone's operating system is updated to the latest version.

  1. Is this your corporate iPhone? Then please contact the system administrator of your corporate
  2. If it is your personal device, in that case, do you have any profile installed by your corporate/organisation/enterprise/School Management?
    1. Erase the profile added by you If you have installed a profile on your own --> Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple ...
    2. Or please contact the system administrator of the organisation who provided the profile to you
