Noise recording for facebook

I never tried before IOS 17 but recently on my Iphone 13pro my wife has been doing voiceovers on reels, and going live. She is getting machine noise or like a low db static in her audio and it is only present in the facebook app attempting these 2 things. I have trouble shot about anything I could think of from turning on or off wifi and other things of this nature, taking off the case, holding it different, or even recording in complete silence away from any noise. FB messenger (audio messaging) is clear, every other voiceover with other editing apps, to even memo, phone or camera app all are clear. I have been reporting this to facebook and apple for about 6 months now and with every ios update or facebook app update I have had hopes it would get fixed but no one seems to have an answer or really respond with any care. Facebook says it is the phone and apple says its facebook. I personally thought it was just a bug which could be expected since I’m on public release but it has been present for all the updates the last 6 months. Recently I purchased the 15 pro and I can't replicate the issue, also I purchased some external microphones for the 13pro to rule out the phones mics and she still has the noise even with the external mics that are positively working. Its odd that only my 13 pro has this and it is even more odd that I do not have it with anything other than facebook, but what really has me lost is that even with a external microphone the problem persists. For context that phone has been babied, no water, drops or even a scratch FB is up to date. Any ideas of what I should do next or who else to report it to?
