ipad keyboard is deleting forward how to fix it?

guys i have goojodoq 3rd generation wireless keyboard and the delete key is deleting forward ever since i got it. i really don’t like this. how can i fix it and make it delete backward (to the left of cursor )as normal?

note: for some reason fn+delete = backward delete

Software keyboard keeps popping back up with external keyboard attached I have just installed a Logitech Rugged Folio keyboard on my 10th Gen iPad with iPadOS 17.3.1. The keyboard connects through the connector on the side of the iPad. The keyboard has been updated to the latest software version, according to the Logitech app. When using the external keyboard, the screen gets covered with the on screen virtual keyboard. On screen key board popping up when I start using the external key board for my iPad, the on screen keyboard also comes up when I click on the cursor. This hides half the screen. hiw do I remove the onscreen key board when I am using a external key board?

Where is the Delete (not Backspace) key on the iPad keyboard? I’ve seen this answered before incorrectly… I’m looking for the Delete key (which removes characters in front of the cursor) rather than the very prominent Backspace key (which removes characters behind the cursor). In particular, I want to know how to access this function on the official Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad, where there is no “Fn” button.
