how to transfer photo albums from google photos to apple photos on my Mac

I have photos stored on google photos. How do I transfer google photo albums to my Apple Photos? I can only see how to do it by individual photos

Importing photos from another library When importing photos from another library in the Photos app on Mac can you import selected albums? The Apple documentation only gives two options: import the entire library or import selected photos. I’d like to import specific albums. Thanks!

That's pretty much it. Download from Google Photos to folders, named for the albums, then import those folders into Photos, creating Albums as you go.
